Lenny Katz, RHU

Lenny graduated Rider University in 1979 with a BS in Marketing and earned his RHU designation from The American College in 1989. Lenny joined Katz/Pierz in 1983 with a focus on individual disability products for professionals. Recognizing that many of the Katz/Pierz clientele needed assistance with employee benefits, Lenny shifted his primary focus to this area and began providing benefit solutions and service to Katz/Pierz's existing and new clients. Lenny is a member of the Aetna National Broker Advisory Council and lives in Marlton, NJ with his wife Lori and his three children. Lenny enjoyed coaching all of his children's hockey, soccer and baseball teams and now enjoys biking and hiking.

Joseph Sulpizio, RHU

Joe graduated from Drexel University in 1990 with a BS in Finance and earned his RHU designation from The American College in 2000. Joe started his insurance career with MetLife and soon decided he enjoyed working with small employers. Joe joined Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NJ (Horizon BCBSNJ) as a sales representative specializing in small business health plans in Camden and Burlington Counties. Recognizing that he could better serve his clients by being an independent broker, Joe joined Katz/Pierz in 1996 with a goal of building his own book of clients. Joe lives in Cherry Hill, NJ with his wife Lara and two sons. He can be found most weekends at area parks, coaching soccer and baseball.

Robert "Shay" Cowan

Shay graduated from New England College in 1990 with a BS in Marketing. Shay started his insurance career with General American, working with large, self-funded, multi-site companies. After six years with General American, Shay joined Allmerica Financial as a sales manager selling alternate funding programs to large and midsize companies. Shay continued to manage and sell with Allmerica Financial until the company was sold four years later. After ten years on the carrier side, Shay joined HRH as a broker. In 2004, Shay joined Katz/Pierz to better focus on his clients' needs. Shay lives in Mount Laurel, NJ with his wife Kim, a son and a daughter.

Danielle McGrath - Director of Client Services

Danielle started her insurance career with Horizon BCBSNJ in 1992. After four years on the carrier side, Danielle embarked upon her career as a broker with a large brokerage firm in the tri-state area before joining Katz/Pierz in 1999. As Director of Client Services, she specializes in creating and promoting programs that keep our clients well-informed and Katz/Pierz's staff well-trained. Danielle and her staff are responsible for ensuring the delivery of Customer First! solutions for administrators and subscribers. Danielle lives in Audubon, NJ with her daughter.

Bonnie Pollaci

Bonnie started her insurance career as office manager for a local Cherry Hill Knights of Columbus office. In 1989, she joined Horizon BCBSNJ as a sales consultant, and for the next eight years worked with small businesses providing them with group health, life, and disability plans. Her oustanding performance was recognized with membership in Horizon's President's Club in 1993. Bonnie left Horizon in 1996 to establish her own brokerage business, Pinnacle Insurance Services, where as an independent broker, she was able to offer her clients a wider variety of insurance carriers and plan options. She also expanded her expertise to include life, disability and long term care for businesses and individuals. After building a base of over 200 clients, Bonnie merged wth Katz/Pierz in order to bring them additional support and resources. Bonnie enjoys being able to meet her clients' unique insurance needs while being able to provide them with the personal attention that is her signature trademark. Bonnie is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the Human Resource Management Association, and the Mt. Laurel Business Networking Club. She is a coordinator of the Annual Women's Golf Event at Ramblewood Country Club which promotes experienced female golfers and nurtures novices.  Bonnie enjoys golfing, biking, skiing, cycling and ballroom dancing. She resides with her son, Ben in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
