History

Katz/Pierz began as a partnership between Aaron Katz, RHU and Donald Pierz, MSFS, CLU, ChFC with a focus on individual insurance products for professionals, business owners and the self-employed.  In 1983, Lenny Katz, RHU, joined Katz/Pierz and began providing employee benefit solutions to existing and new clients.

Over the next several years, the benefit practice grew as additional producers and support personnel joined Katz/Pierz, and our Customer First! philosophy evolved.

In 2007, Katz/Pierz expanded into a newly-purchased building on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, NJ.

  • Today, Katz/Pierz's Employee Benefits Division specializes in providing cost-effective benefit strategies and integrated technology solutions that help our clients attract and retain good people and improve their bottom line.
  • Our Individual Insurance Division is staffed with caring, experienced and credentialed professionals who are dedicated to helping our clients preserve wealth and provide security for their families and their businesses.
  • Our Qualified Plan Division consists of advisors with decades of experience. These professionals help with the design and redesign of pension, profit sharing, 401(k) and 403(b) plans.

A fierce dedication to independent representation of each client's best interest and a strong commitment to Customer First! has allowed Katz/Pierz to enjoy a remarkable reputation in the market and an unprecedented retention level.

As we look to the future, our focus continues to be not only on providing our employer groups and individual clients with financially viable solutions, such as consumer-driven models, but also on providing the communication and technology tools to help manage these programs.
